Morgan Creasey uses ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ’s GPFAX pads and X-Series floating discs

Spalding-based motorcycle racer, Morgan Creasey, is currently competing in the British Motorcycle and Racing Club (Bemsee)’s Thunderbike Sport and Thunderbike Ultra classes on his various Suzuki superbikes.

He continues to run ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Racing’s GPFAX motorsport brake pads and X-Series floating brake discs on both motorcycles as he campaigns through the year.

Following more podiums at Cadwell Park, we next caught up with Creasey after his latest round at Snetterton, where more podiums were achieved in another successful weekend.

Read how it panned out in his own words below…

“Finally, a weekend to smile about!

“100% race completion, some decent results, and most importantly, confidence back on the bikes. Hopefully we’ve finally turned a corner.â€

Qualifying (Starting P4)

“Throughout the weekend, I struggled with the brakes overheating and the pads glazing, but this was the first time I’ve properly raced the 750 without any mechanical issues.:

Race 1

“A solid race, but I couldn’t quite stay with the riders ahead. Finished P4.â€

Race 2

“I got a great launch before a red flag brought the race to a halt. On the restart I made another strong start and stayed with the leader, but just didn’t quite have enough to make a move. Finished P2.â€

Race 3

“Another great start saw me lead into Turn 1. I expected the 1000cc bikes to out-drag me down the back straight, but the 750 held its own. By lap 3 the brakes were becoming a real struggle, but thankfully I’d built enough of a gap to manage it. Finished P1.â€

Race 4

“As I was still struggling with the brakes, we swapped them over before the final race, which made a huge difference. Another strong start saw me battling with Tyler for the opening laps, swapping positions several times before I finally took the lead. From there I pushed on and took the win by 9.185 seconds.

“I always believed the 750 could be competitive in Thunderbike Ultra, but coming to Snetterton with its long straights, I expected the 1000s to have a clear advantage. I’m really pleased to have been proven wrong – the bike was more than capable of holding its own.

“Overall, I’m really happy with how the weekend went. It was great to feel confident again and to come away with consistent finishes, podiums and a pair of wins.

“Now it’s on to Donington Park on 25th & 26th July.â€

Scott Stone uses ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ components on his Yamaha R1

Retford-based Scott Stone is competing in No Limits Racing’s Pirelli Super Series 1000cc Power Trophy across 2026 on his Yamaha R1, aiming to achieve solid results throughout the year.

Stone relies on ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ’ GPFAX (front axle) and Double-H Sintered (rear axle) brake pads to help giving him a fighting chance of achieving some of the fastest lap times on the grid.

Following promising results at the previous Donington Park round, we next caught up with Stone fresh off the back of his Brands Hatch outing, which proved to be an equally positive weekend for the team.

Read how the race meeting unfolded in Stone’s own words below…

Test Day

“Hot, and I mean hot! We didn’t get many laps in; lots of stoppages, a lack of marshals and the notorious Brands catching riders out.

“For a change, I didn’t need many laps. I felt I was riding well and enjoyed lapping in the 1:32 mark with little effort, while working a few things out when I got some space.â€

Qualifying (P15 on Grid)

“In the first qualifying session, I was near the front and had got myself some space with a tow from fast lads. I thought ‘perfect’, only for the session to be red-flagged coming on to our 3rd lap. I do hope Jack Morgan makes a full recovery – that was big.

“Called back after a long stoppage and, knowing I would be mid-pack, did a Wilf Turner trick and went out at the back. With the track to myself, I managed a 1:32.4, which I was ok with. Would have liked a little more, but still trying to build up the pace and work out what grip we had. Due to all the stoppages our race was moved to Sunday, meaning we had a busy day ahead with 3 races.â€

Race 1 (P17/10th in Class)

“A very poor start and then got boxed-in badly at Paddock Hill and Druids, losing a good few places. I quickly got my act together and moved back up to P17 by the end of Lap 1, but was at the back of a train of five riders. Getting used to the pace, I was looking to make up a couple more places, but we were too close together. By the time I had worked a few things out it was the chequered flag. We ran a good pace and I had a good feeling with the bike so was keen to try again in Race 2.â€

Race 2 (P12/8th in Class)

“Starting 16th on the grid, I was now on the outside, which I prefer at Brands. This time I ripped off the line, got stuck in and made passes around the outside of Paddock Hill Bend then inside at Druids with inches to spare. I found myself on the back of Liam Murtagh, who is riding strongly this year. I tried to pass him into Surtees, but wasn’t quite close enough. Ran with Liam for a few laps doing 1.31’s until he edged away from me. As the gap gradually widened, I was being chased by Jamie Boyce and Steven Duncan so had to kept it tidy to hold my position until the end. Great race and pleased to run consistent 1:31s all race and matched my PB from last year at 1:31.2.â€

Race 3 (P10/8th in Class)ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý

“Made tweaks to the bike to help with the better pace and go! Great start again.

“Pretty much the same start though Steven Duncan joined the party this time. Duncan made a brave pass on Liam into Hawthornes and I had the best view in the house. My bike was even better in this one so no excuses and I managed a PB of 1:31.0 to close the little gap they had. Then spent six laps trying to get past the fastest Kawasaki I have ever seen, while Liam was trying to get past Duncan again. I thought I was going to get two for the price of one at Druids, but wasn’t sure if Liam could see me as he came back onto the racing line. I had a nibble at Graham Hill Bend to which he chopped my nose off. Duncan now had a few bike lengths on us so back to working out Liam again.

“I felt strong and thought if I can pass Liam I might just get a chance on the last lap to take Steven. I tried everything, but Liam rode well and made it hard. To be honest, even if that wasn’t possible, the fact I was thinking it shows we are so much stronger than we have been. I got really close coming onto the Start/Finish Straight with two laps to go, but another red flag and the fun was over. Credit to Liam, he has really found the pace again this year and it was great trying to work him out.

“I feel like a weight has been lifted this weekend. I have now made the step with the bike that I have been looking for, putting me back in the race. I can’t tell you how happy I am and how much I enjoyed finally racing again. The earlier three rounds were tough to take, but we are on the way back now.

“Thank you so much to all my supporters and sponsors for not giving up on me.

“Next up: my local, Cadwell Park. I can’t wait.â€

Max Symonds uses ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Racing’s GPFAX pads and X-Series floating discs

Wiltshire-based motorcycle racer, Max Symonds has been competing in the British Superbike Championship’s National Superstock category for a number of years.

The rider, who alsoÌýwon Castle Combe Circuit’s NG Road Racing ‘King of Combe’ race in 2025, switched from his Yamaha R1 to a Honda CBR 1000RR Fireblade last year, continuing to use this bike and its ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Racing’s GPFAX pads and X-Series floating discs setup for the 2026 season.

Following someÌýextensive testing at the start of the year across Europe and a guest race to warm himself up for the BSB season, we next caught up with Symonds after he’d completed the first two rounds of BSB at Oulton Park and Donington Park respectively.

Things were looking promising for the year ahead from the word go, until Symonds had an unfortunate fall on the third lap of the Donington Park race, causing injuries and putting him out of action for the next few rounds.

You can read all about it below in his own words…

“As always, the start of the BSB season was hectic!

“The level of competition in the BSB National Superstock class is incredibly high, with British Superbike race winners, Isle of Man TT winners, World Endurance riders, and leading British Superbike teams all on the grid. On top of this, there is always a wave of young, up-and-coming riders joining the class each season as they look to progress through the BSB paddock.

“This creates a field of more than 40 riders, all capable of setting extremely fast lap times. The gap between the very fastest riders and those towards the back is often only two to three seconds, meaning that even a minor mistake or slight lack of pace can cost multiple positions.

“In addition to this, the bikes are becoming more and more powerful. The top Superstock machines, BMW M 1000 RR and Honda Fireblade, produce over 220 bhp as standard. As a result, riders are often lapping only slightly slower than full spec Superbikes while having much less track time and far fewer race-specific parts.

“It’s a common view within UK paddocks is that the National Superstock Championship is one of the most competitive series in all of Europe because the field is so deep and the machinery is so evenly matched.â€

Oulton Park

“The first round was held at Oulton Park, which is considered one of the most challenging circuits on the calendar due to its steep elevation changes, blind corners, and narrow layout that leaves no room for error. This made for an especially demanding start to the season and despite improving my personal best from 2024 by a full second, I still wasn’t fast enough to challenge for points.â€

Donington Park

“Donington Park quickly followed for Round 2. This weekend brought a new challenge, with every type of weather imaginable being thrown at us: sunshine, cold and windy conditions, heavy rain, and damp, drying track conditions.

“I was able to make the most of the conditions whenever I was on track and secured a safe qualifying position just outside the top 20, with good pace and a realistic chance of fighting for points in the race.

“Unfortunately, on lap three, having just made a pass on another rider through the Esses, I entered the penultimate corner of the lap, the Melbourne Hairpin. Eager to stay ahead of the rider behind and challenge the group in front, I got on the throttle too aggressively and spun the rear tyre. The result was a massive highside that launched me into the air before slamming me back onto the track, ending my race just as it was getting started.

“I was fortunate not to be hit by any of the riders behind. Unfortunately, during the crash I hit my left leg hard on the ground, breaking both my ankle and leg in the process.

“After being assessed by the medical team at the circuit, I travelled back to my local hospital for surgery. The operation went well, and I am now focused on my recovery and getting back to full fitness as quickly as possible.â€

We caught up with Creasey after the fourth round at Lincolnshire’s Cadwell Park Circuit, where he secured more podiums to make it another successful weekend…

Thunderbike Sport

“The weekend started strongly in Thunderbike Sport qualifying. I was initially able to get some good times on the board but knew there was still more pace in the bike. With the track becoming increasingly busy, I chose to back off and create a gap to give myself some clean air for a final push lap. The strategy paid off, and I secured P1 in class.â€Ìý

Race 1

“Unfortunately, we were still struggling with the issue that was affecting my starts. As the lights went out, I produced another impressive kangaroo impression, losing several positions off the line. I quickly settled into a rhythm and began fighting my way back through the field, enjoying some great battles along the way. By the chequered flag, I had recovered to finish P2.â€

Race 2 & 3

“Both races followed a very similar pattern. Another difficult launch off the line left me with work to do in the opening laps, but I was able to make progress through the pack and enjoy some close racing as I regained positions. Despite the strong pace, the gap to the leader was too much to close, and I brought the bike home in P2 in both races.â€

Race 4

“The final race of the weekend started in familiar fashion, with another poor start dropping me several places from my P6 grid position. Once again, I fought my way forward and was involved in some fantastic battles throughout the race. The highlight was a thrilling last-lap fight with Jamison. I had lined up a move, but unfortunately we caught a backmarker at exactly the wrong moment in the last part of the track, ending any chance of an overtake. I crossed the line in P3, but thoroughly enjoyed the battle and ended the weekend on a positive note.Ìý

“Overall, it was a weekend of strong pace and hard-fought racing. While the starts continue to be an area we need to improve, the speed was there all weekend and there are plenty of positives to take into the next round.â€

Thunderbike Ultra

“The weekend started with a frustrating qualifying session. I headed out on the 750 but quickly realised we were still suffering from a clutch issue, forcing me to return to the pits without being able to complete a representative lap. After switching to the 1000, I was left with very little time to get a lap on the board, but I managed to put in a qualifying time. Due to the bike change, I was handed a six-place grid penalty for Race 1, dropping me to P12 on the grid.â€

Race 1

“Despite the penalty, I got a strong launch off the line and immediately started working my way through the pack. With some good pace and consistent lap times, I was able to make up positions throughout the race and fight my way through to a solid P5 finish.

“Unfortunately, in the Powerbike race, the 1000 developed an overheating issue which caused further mechanical problems and left us unable to continue competing on that bike for the remainder of the day. The team switched focus to repairing the 750, and after a lot of hard work we managed to get it ready in time for Sunday morning.â€

Race 3

“Having missed Race 2, I was forced to start Race 3 from the back of the grid. I made good progress through the field, enjoyed some great battles, and worked my way up to finish in P6.

“While it was encouraging to get the bike back out and be competitive again, the damage to the clutch had already been done before the repair. To avoid causing any further issues and risking a bigger failure, we made the difficult decision to sit out Race 4.

“A challenging weekend with plenty of setbacks, but there were positives to take away.â€

Wiltshire-based motorcycle racer, Max Symonds has been competing in the British Superbike Championship’s National Superstock category for a number of years.

Following someÌýextensive testing at the start of the year across Europe and an NG Road Racing outing at Brands Hatch earlier in the year, we next caught up with Symonds after a stint of testing and another NG Road Racing weekend across April.

Read how the month panned out in his own words below…

Snetterton Test Day

“We started the month with a test day at Snetterton – my first laps of the circuit on the Fireblade. The main aim was to establish a solid base setting on the bike and get back up to speed around the track having not raced here last year.

“Strict noise limits on the day, combined with some changeable weather, meant we didn’t get as much time on track as we’d have liked. However, as the conditions improved towards the end of the afternoon we managed to put some good laps together and came away with a good setting for the race event back here later in the year.â€

Cadwell Park – NG Road Racing Round 2

“After taking four wins and setting a new lap record at round one, we decided to enter the second event of the NG Road Racing Season at Cadwell Park.

“Saturday was a solid start, qualifying second in both the Powerbike and Open classes and taking a pair of second-place finishes in the races. Overnight, we made some changes to the bike set-up and I worked on a few adjustments to my riding style. This made big improvements for Sunday as we went on to take two wins after some really close races and fast, consistent lap times.â€

Oulton Park – BSB Pre-Season Test

“Our first official BSB event of the year. Two full days on track gave us the chance to run through a wide range of set-up options and really get the bike working the way we want it to.

“I was happy to put in a new personal best lap time and to be lapping with pretty consistent pace throughout. The test was a lot of hard work with a total of 90 laps logged over the two days which was all worth it as the bike is starting to feel exactly how I want it and we left Oulton Park with a big smile on our faces.â€

Donington Park – Test Day

“Having missed the official BSB test there earlier in the month, it was important to get some laps in round here ahead of the race later in the season.

“Cold temperatures and high winds made the morning session tricky, but as the weather improved through the afternoon I was able to put in some strong lap times. We finished the day happy with the progress made and confident going into the start of the BSB season.â€

Following some extensive testing at the start of the year across Europe, we next caught up with Symonds after his first race of the year – an NG Road Racing outing at Brands Hatch – ahead of his BSB season start.

Here, Symonds dominated in the Powerbike and Open classes, as you can read below in his team’s own words…

“Symonds Racing enjoyed a highly successful outing at the NG Road Racing season opener at Brands Hatch, delivering a dominant performance across both the Powerbike and Open classes.

“Max qualified on pole position in both categories, went on to win all four races he entered, and broke both class lap records including setting a new outright NG lap record at Brands Hatch Indy in the process,†his team explains.

“With the British Superbike season still a few weeks away, we decided to enter round one of the NG Road Racing championship to gain valuable track time.

“Friday’s test day was especially useful, with lots of track sessions allowing us to test new rear suspension components and a find a good direction for the season ahead.

“Saturday started with qualifying sessions for both classes, where I was able to put the bike on pole in each with some strong laps.

“Unfortunately, due to some work that needed doing on the bike between sessions, we decided to sit out the first Open race to make sure everything was 100% ready. With no championship points on the line, it made sense not to take any unnecessary risks.

“I got back out in the first Powerbike race and managed to take a lights to flag victory, setting a new lap record of 47.2 seconds along the way.”

“Sunday morning’s second Open race was a bit more of a challenge, starting from the back of the grid after missing Saturday’s race. This meant a pretty hectic start to the race as I worked my way through from 34th to the lead by lap eight. Once I hit the front I was then able to pull out a gap and take the win by a couple of seconds.

“Starting from pole again in the next Powerbike race, I made the most of the clear track ahead and really pushed on putting together a strong run of laps under my previous best. By lap 5 I had set a new lap record of 46.7 seconds – half a second quicker than the day before.

“In the final Open race of the weekend, I had a bit of a moment coming out of turn one, but was able to regroup and control the race from the front to take another win, along with a new class lap record of 47.0 seconds.

“Having achieved everything we wanted from the weekend, we decided to sit out the final Powerbike race, saving tyres and ending the weekend on a high.

“Overall, the weekend couldn’t have gone better, we made lots of progress with the bike set-up and came away with a load of wins and laps records!â€

Rob Lewis entrusts ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ braking components in his Ford Focus ST170

For the 2025 season, Rob Lewis once again competed in the Modified Ford Series in his Mk1 Ford Focus ST170 (Class B).

Lewis has successfully campaigned within this championship for some years now, entrusting ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Racing’s RP-Xâ„¢ motorsport brake pads for the front axle of his race car, and ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ’ Bluestuff NDX pads on the rear axle throughout this time.

After catching up with Lewis after the first few rounds of the year, where car and driver had both been performing well and secured some class podiums, we next caught up with Rob after the final rounds of the season at Cadwell Park and Brands Hatch, where more podiums were clinched.

You can read how these two weekends panned out for Rob in his own words below…

Cadwell Park

“I arrived at Cadwell Park with a nervous energy; I had never set a tyre on the circuit before in any form, so it was always a case of learning and getting better. We also debuted a new greener look to the car to change it up slightly –Ìýit certainly was more noticeable!

“Qualifying saw some beautiful track conditions and, as I heading out, I felt at home almost instantly. Getting quicker, I managed to sneak in the top 15 overall and 5th in my class, the car itself felt superb and the stopping power of the RP-Xâ„¢ pads meant I had the confidence into the harder hairpin turns around the mountain. Game on!”

“Race 1: a good start on a tight grid meant the first few laps were a case of trying to find room to get into a flow and progress up the field. After the field had spread itself out more, the lap times quickly came tumbling down and I shaved a whopping two seconds off my qualifying time. The class podium was a realistic target and after dispatching the Mk1 Escort of Gary Johnson, I got my head down and worked on holding 3rd in class and a bank of points involved… My only problem was the turbo Puma catching me that wanted the same podium spot! Lap after lap of defensive driving in my most vulnerable areas and utilising my superior braking performance meant when the flag came it was a podium for me once again! 3rd in Class and 11th overall on my first race EVER at Cadwell Park.Ìý

“Race 2: after a driveshaft change overnight (a weak point on this setup this year) I started race 2 with even more confidence and quickly moved inside the top 10 and 2nd in class, Hot on the heels of Chris Baker, I got past on lap 3 and got my head down aiming for a class win into the 1:40.1 lap time. Then, it all came tumbling down: as I rode the kerb over Chris Curve, it ripped the boost pipe off and that was the race done. Gutted! We go again…â€

Brands Hatch

“Brands Hatch is always the highlight meeting for the year in the Modified Fords series, with crowds of 15,000 celebrating all things ‘blue oval’ as part of the Ford Power Live show. A grid walk allowed people to get close to the race cars and I had a lot of interest in my car in particular. Testing went okay but by the time we went out for qualifying, I knew the car was getting tired from a hard season’s racing: a failed connector pin had made sure I didn’t get a lap in qualifying which was really frustrating. Starting from the back of the grid, I made up a lot of spaces and was quickly battling my class competitors for the podium once again. Iain Blackley’s Puma was in 3rd and as he made a mistake coming out of McLaren, I looked to capitalise… Just as cylinder 4 dropped. Coil failure. Once again, a great result slipped through due to mechanical issue.”

“Then came race 2. Once again starting from the rear of the grid, I made my way through the field and onto the rear of Ian Blackley’s Puma once more. The handling characteristics of the cars are the same, but I found once again that under brakes, I had a significant advantage. The only problem with all of this was that Ian was driving a consummate defensive race. My final chance came on the last lap of the race. Using the superior braking advantage, I hung around the outside of the Puma at Druids and got the inside line for Graham Hill Bend… Podium once again! And retribution for a difficult start to the weekend.â€

G&S Racing is supporting two riders in the British Supersport Championship

For the 2025 season, the G&S Racing Kawasaki motorcycle race team competed in the BSB’s British Supersport Championship with two riders: TJ Toms and Jorel Boerboom.

The duo continues to entrust ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Racing’s GPFAX track/race brake pads and X-Series floating discs on their Kawasaki race bikes – a formula that has helped them secure solid points in previous years.

Following a successful penultimate round at Oulton Park, the team finished off the season in style at Kent’s Brands Hatch,

Read how it all panned out in their own words below…

“What a way to end the season! G&S Racing Kawasaki riders TJ Toms and Jorel Boerboom completed both races and celebrated the final race with both riders in the points –ÌýTJ within the top four.

“After qualifying in 13th place for the short Sprint race on Saturday, TJ Toms started the 12-lap race from the fourth row and as the lights went out he immediately moved up to 11th on the opening lap. He tucked in behind Carter Brown and followed him through the majority of the race before making a move on the penultimate lap to snatch 10th place. He held his line through the final lap to take 10th at the flag and pick up sufficient points to leapfrog Dean Harrison in the rider standings to eighth position.Ìý

“There was a dramatic change in the weather for Sunday’s season finale with rain falling making the track wet and slippery. Full wets was the order of the day, with TJ lining up in the middle of the fourth row. With crashes to riders ahead of him, the safety car was brought out a couple of times during the race which allowed TJ to remain in touch with the leading group and he circulated in 10th position through the first half of the 15-lap race.

“He then began to make his way forward and was in fifth place going into the final lap. Not satisfied with that he made a concerted effort and passed Lee Johnston on the final lap to take a well-deserved fourth place to end the season in a solid eighth place in the rider standings.”

“Meanwhile, Jorel Boerboom came through first qualifying but gave himself a lot of work to do in the Sprint race after completing final qualifying down in 26th place. But he got his head down and made up a place to 25th on the first lap. He was embroiled in a five-rider battle for position and was able to pick off riders through the rest of the 12 laps to cross the finish line in 21st position.Ìý

“Starting the final race from the eighth row, it was always going to be a struggle to get up into a point-scoring position, but Boerboom was determined to end his season on a high note and worked his way through the midfielders to latch onto the back of the group fighting for 11th place. He picked them off one by one until he got to the front of the group. With the next rider too far ahead to catch, Boerboom took the chequered flag for his best result of the season in 11th place to pick up 10 championship points.”

Team Manager, Tom Fisher: “That was a great result in the final race for both riders. TJ rode well in the first race to 10th and was amazing in the wet final race with fourth. He rode the wheels of the Kawasaki to get up into the top five and thoroughly deserved the fourth-place finish.

“Jorel also rode well. He started from way back on row eight and fought his way up to 11th. What a great way to finish his season. I have to thank the whole team for their hard work over this weekend and also our sponsors who have stuck with us throughout the years. This has been our best season by far and we couldn’t have done this without their input. Also thanks go to our supporters, many of whom have been at the track to cheer us on.â€

Morgan Creasey uses ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ’s GPFAX pads and X-Series floating discs

Spalding-based motorcycle racer, Morgan Creasey, is currently competing BSB’s Pirelli Superstock Championship on his Honda CBR 1000 RR-R superbike.

Creasey’s motorcycle is fitted with ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Racing’s GPFAX motorsport brake pads and X-Series floating brake discs for this year’s campaigns.

Following a successful stint at Kent’s Brands Hatch, Creasey next found himself at the high-speed Thruxton, where plenty of thrills and spills eventually resulted in more good results for the team.

Read how the weekend panned out in Morgan’s own words below…

“Having never ridden Thruxton before, I knew it would be a challenge to quickly learn the track and get up to speed, but I was excited for it. Unfortunately, I made the weekend even more difficult for myself by breaking my foot at work less than a week before. Thankfully, I managed to get the swelling under control, and by the time free practice rolled around on Friday, I was ready to ride.â€

Friday – FP1

“This session was all about learning the track and finding my rhythm. I focused on understanding the lines, braking markers, and flow of Thruxton rather than chasing outright pace. By the end of the session, I managed to put in a respectable lap of 1:21.312, giving me a solid foundation to build on.â€

Friday – FP2

“With the track feeling more familiar, I pushed harder and concentrated on improving corner speed and braking points. The changes paid off, and I reduced my lap time to 1:20.169, heading into Saturday with growing confidence.â€

Saturday – Qualifying

“I started the session on a scrubbed rear tyre for the first four laps, knowing how tough Thruxton is on tyres. After that, I came in for a fresh rear and went back out to push for a faster lap. Unfortunately, a quick shifter failure cut the session short, stopping me from pushing as hard as I’d have liked. I qualified P31 with a best lap of 1:20.253.

“Huge thanks toÌýAlan Jackson, who stepped in after qualifying to check the bike. He managed to reset a fault that I thought might end my weekend, getting me back out for Race 1 that afternoon.â€

Race 1

“Starting 31st, I got a great launch and made up positions by going around the outside into the first corner. I settled into a strong rhythm, making good overtakes to climb to P22. Unfortunately, a last-corner challenge didn’t go my way, four bikes into one chicane was never going to work. To avoid a collision, I took to the escape road, cutting the corner. As it was the final lap, I couldn’t give the place back, and a two-second penalty dropped me to P26. My best lap was a 1:20.146.â€

Sunday – Race 2

“Starting 30th put me on the inside for Lap 1, so I couldn’t take advantage of the start like I did in Race 1. Another hot day made tyre choice important, and with budget limits I fitted a fresh rear but had to run a scrubbed front. Not ideal for 15 laps around Thruxton.

“I ran a solid race and made my way to P24. On Lap 13, I faced a near-identical situation at the chicane as in Race 1, cutting the course to avoid a collision. This time I conceded a place to avoid a penalty, but despite that, I was still handed a two-second penalty, dropping me to P29. My best lap was a 1:19.248.

“Despite the setbacks, I’m pleased with the progress made over the weekend, especially lowering my lap times and improving my pace on a track I’d never ridden before. A big thanks toÌýRayÌýfor the fitness plan I’ve begun. I’ll be sticking to it to improve my strength and endurance for Round 7 at Cadwell.

“Thank you to everyone who came to support me trackside, and to all myÌý2025 sponsorsÌýfor your support this season. On to Cadwell!â€

Creasey’s motorcycle is fitted with ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Racing’s GPFAX motorsport brake pads and X-Series floating brake discs for this year’s campaigns.

We catch up with Creasey mid-season, fresh off the back of his Brands Hatch GP round in this competitive series.

Read how the weekend panned out in Morgan’s own words below…

“After struggling with severe arm pump throughout the first part of the season, I made the decision to undergo surgery, which unfortunately meant missing Round 4 at Knockhill. The recovery time was worth it — this weekend was my first race back and I’m pleased to say the arm felt great, with no issues at all.

“Brands Hatch was also a big step for me as it was my first time riding the full GP circuit, having only ridden the Indy layout previously. Learning the longer, more technical sections added an extra challenge, but I was excited to take it on.â€

Friday – Free Practice

FP1 – P34/42 | 1:32.981

“Dry and warm conditions gave me a good chance to get reacquainted with the bike and begin learning the GP layout. The main goals were to shake off the rust and see how the arm held up. It felt great to be back out, and we made some minor setup tweaks, focusing on braking stability and front-end feel.â€

FP2 – P32/40 | 1:31.859

“The afternoon session was spent continuing to learn the track and push my pace. I took a second off my lap time from FP1 and gained a better understanding of the circuit flow. After the session, I contacted TW Suspension, and with their advice we made a small suspension change to help improve feel ahead of qualifying.â€

Saturday – Qualifying & Race 1

Qualifying – P26/40 | 1:30.039

“The suspension changes made a big difference. I felt more confident through the faster sections and was able to push harder than I have all season. I set a new personal best and secured 26th on the grid, which was higher than I expected, especially at a circuit that’s typically been a tough one for me.â€

Race 1 – Started 26th, Finished 25th

“Got a decent start and settled into a solid rhythm, having some great battles throughout the race. Towards the end, my fitness started to drop off, which affected my pace. Still, this was the first race all season where I’ve been able to push the whole distance, so that in itself was a big step forward. Brought it home in 25th and learned a lot in the process.â€

Sunday – Race 2

Race 2 – Started 26th, Finished 24th

“I got a strong start, moving up to 21st early on and spent most of the race running in P22. I was feeling more confident in race conditions and pushing harder throughout. Unfortunately, as the race wore on, fitness once again became a limiting factor, and a late-race mistake — nearly resulting in a high-side — cost me a few places. I managed to regroup and brought the bike home in 24th, glad to have kept it upright and finished another full-distance race.â€
