The privateer racer made the jump from a successful career in road racing

Following years of successful motorcycle racing campaigns at the Isle of Man TT, Ducati TriOptions Championship and in various classic series, Jason Burrill took the plunge into British Superbike racing in 2023.

Entering BSB’s Superstock 1000 series as a privateer on a BMW S 1000 RR bike, Burrill entrusted ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Racing’s GPFAX motorsport brake pads for his first season.

It’s safe to say the year was a huge success, with Burrill carrying even bigger plans into 2024.

“It was a huge learning year, and one we grabbed with both hands.

“The bike was a lot different from anything we had raced before, as it develops 215bhp and the electronics package is very complicated.

“We made some huge steps forward throughout the year, consistently going faster every time we went out, culminating in a best finishing position of 22nd.

“We used the GPFAX pads in both the front and the rear all year round, and they performed flawlessly; they are by far the best brake pads I’ve used. I can’t thank ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ enough for their continued help and support; without these quality products we definitely wouldn’t be going as fast as we do!

“We have big plans for 2024 – the team will run a full programme in the BSB Superstock 1000 Championship on a new BMW M 1000 RR with support from BMW Motorrad and Alpha Racing, complete with GPFAX pads, of course. Watch this space…â€
